A modern Vietnamese bakery-café for the world.

LÀ LÁ Bakeshop invites you to discover a world of taste inspired by our memories of Southeast Asia.

We use ingredients and flavor combinations that’ll make the Asian kid (and adult) in you smile—think salted egg yolk, pork floss, coconut pandan, and yes, durian! Compared to Western desserts, ours are a touch less sweet and balanced with a hint of salt.

  • LÀ LÁ Bakeshop is a modern Vietnamese bakery–café for the world. We create unique yet nostalgic desserts that touch the heart, and offer genuinely friendly service to our customers.

In Vietnamese, “là lá” means “it’s a leaf.” That’s why our logo is the golden gingko, a tree that originates in Asia and has migrated to North America — a metaphor for our products, our team, and our vision.

  • You can preorder birthday cakes, including our Vietnamese Salted Egg Cakes and more on our online ordering page. If you have any questions, feel free to reach us at nyc@lalabakeshop.com.

  • Follow us on Instagram to keep up with the latest news from LÀ LÁ Bakeshop, including openings, new menu items, as well as fun facts about Vietnamese culture.

If you represent a student group or media organization that would like to reach out, kindly email community@lalabakeshop.com. Thank you!

  • We understand many folks have dietary restrictions. We list several potential ones here. If you need more info, please get in touch at nyc@lalabakeshop.com.
